The Unending Road

“because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars…” ― Jack Kerouac, On The Road

Iceland Dreaming

Iceland 2018: I woke up thinking about Iceland this morning. Not quite sure why, so decided to share this photo from a visit this past spring. It was a memorable trip with my homies, Mark and Matt.

Road is the journey

Mamiya 6 (a 6×6 medium format camera) and a f3.5/75mm lens (which is equal to 50mm on full-frame) Kodak Portra 400. It was 1/125th of a second, film was rated at ISO 200 and shot at f 3.5.

The Roads of Iceland

There is something fantasticlly hopeful and tragically sad at the same time about the roads of Iceland. Made in 2015 with my now long gone Leica M-P 240 and a f2/35 Summicron lens. f8, ISO 1600, 1/1,500th of a second.
