Horsing around in Iceland

Icelandic horses are such gentle giants and whenever I am in one of my favorite places in the world, I spend a lot of time making photos of these beautiful creatures. I came across this horse family by the side of what is called a backroad and spent about an hour observing the group dynamics and making some photos. These were made using Canon 5D Mark 3 borrowed from my friend Palli. Obviously, I needed a long lens — Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L lens. ISO 400. Focal length 200mm. Aperture f3.5. Shutter speed 1/640th of a second.
